matt bowe is an interdisciplinary creative, designer, and technologist fascinated by nostalgia, communal memory, and the politics of interface. matt creates participatory systems, interactive installations, and narrative-driven objects designed to explore alternative futures rooted in the collective experience.

hey. i’m matt. i have a background in visual design, creative technology, and digital interactivity, and i build things that shift perspective and invite people to reconsider how memory shapes their world. my practice blends creative-coding, game design, physical computing, and visual storytelling, allowing me to prototype everything from interactive installations to speculative devices and custom software.

i work across front-end development, embedded systems design, and app design, with experience in languages and tools ranging from p5js and python to react, swift, and C#. alongside my art practice, i’m a full-time ux designer and part-time ios developer, and i occasionally speak on creativity, memory, and the futures we invent.

over the past decade, i’ve designed for teams at square, nike, converse, spotify, and most recently google. i also recently completed my master’s in interactive media arts at nyu which i can’t stop talking about. sorry friends and family.
